Polish president died in plane crash at Smolensk.

On 10 April 2010, The President of Poland Lech Kaczyński died at Smolensk.
Tupolev Tu-154M crashed 2 km next to Smolensk-North Airport in Russia. It has killed all aboard include Polish president, his wife, members of the Polish government, the country's legislative branch, high commanders of the Polish Armed Forces and other Polish dignitaries.

Whole Polish delegation was on the way to commemoration ceremony of the 70 th anniversary of the Katyn massacre.

A great tragedy on top of the Katyn massacre. I guess we were all very pleased to know, that Russia finally wanted to admit and excuse the massacre. - It is said that the pilot made four landing attempts, which is way out of normal security procedures.
